We’ve been working out of Survey No. 275 in the Galaxy Ind Estate for quite a few years now. Most days it’s just the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of grease. Being on Plot No. 4-B means we’re right in the middle of the industrial rush, which suits us just fine. We started New Age Construction Equipment Eng. Co. because we knew how to put things together that wouldn't break on a job site. It isn't a clean job. Our hands stay dirty from morning until we lock up at night. The workshop is usually a bit cluttered with parts and half-finished machines, but that’s how we know things are getting done. People around the estate know where to find us if they need a part or something welded back together. We don't spend much time on paperwork or fancy meetings. Most of our time goes into making sure the equipment leaves the gate ready for the field. The weather gets pretty hot in the shed during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the heavy stuff that builders and contractors actually use every day. If you walk past the plot, you’ll see the crew busy with the grinders or moving steel around. It’s loud, it’s busy, and it’s just how we run things here. There is no corporate polish in this building, just work.
