If you go down Dhebar Road and look across from the Mehta Petrol Pump, you’ll see us at Prashant. Siddhpura Machine Tools has been operating out of this spot for a long time. The floor is usually covered in a bit of metal shavings and there’s always the smell of machine oil in the air. It’s an industrial area, so it’s loud and dusty, but that’s just how we like it. We have all sorts of lathes and drills sitting around. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one part a customer needs. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We don’t have a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us with grease on our hands working on a machine. We talk to a lot of local factory owners and hobbyists. They come in looking for something specific, and usually, we have it tucked away somewhere. The shop gets hot in the summer because the fans don't do much against the heat of the machines. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. We aren't trying to be the biggest supplier out there. We just want to make sure the tools we sell actually work like they should. It’s a straightforward business. No big speeches or complicated contracts. Just handshakes and getting the right tool for the job. We’ve been on this road since the beginning and don’t plan on moving. We just stay focused on the gear.
