Vijyanand Travels

Vijyanand Travels is over here in Surya Complex, right on 150 Ring Road in Rajkot. We are pretty close to the BSNL telephone exchange and right across from the Yamaha showroom, so it is easy to find. Most people just walk in after seeing our sign. We handle bus tickets and local trips mostly. It gets busy in the mornings when folks are trying to get their seats booked for the weekend. The office isn't anything fancy, just some desks and chairs where we sort out the schedules. Sometimes the phones ring too much, but we try to answer everyone. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most of our regulars know us by name. It is a local operation, nothing corporate about it. We just help people get from here to there without too much trouble. Sometimes the traffic on the ring road makes it hard to park, but that is just Rajkot for you. If you need to go somewhere, you just stop by and we look at the chart. We don't have big flashy ads. It’s mostly just word of mouth around here. We know the routes well because we've been doing this day in and day out. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break, but usually, we are just sitting here handling the bookings. It’s honest work and we like seeing the same faces every week.
