Maa Holidays

Maa Holidays is situated in Shop No. F 6 inside Shyam Plaza on Raiya Road. If you’ve ever been down Raiya Road, you know how much traffic there is, so it’s usually quite loud outside. Our shop is just a small room with a few computers and a lot of brochures scattered around. We spend most of our day looking at screens and talking on the phone to various people. It’s a lot of coordinating and double-checking dates. Sometimes a client comes in and sits in one of the plastic chairs to talk about their plans, and we try to find something that works for them. We aren't a giant travel agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just a couple of us here. We deal with the usual problems like websites crashing or people changing their minds at the last minute. The air conditioner in the plaza isn't always the best, so we keep a small fan on the desk. We keep track of everything in a big ledger because sometimes the digital system feels a bit unreliable. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, making sure every ticket and reservation is right. We don't have a fancy lounge or anything, just a functional space where we get the job done. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but it’s our home base and it works for us. We just take it one booking at a time.
