Our office, Swami Tours & Travel Link, is located in Aksharbhavan over at Sardar Patel Park. We are at number 2, right on the 150 Feet Ring Road. If you know where J K Hall is, we are tucked just behind it. It’s a decent location and easy to get to from most parts of Rajkot. We’ve been doing this for a while now. The day-to-day work is mostly just answering phones and looking at travel schedules. It can get a bit repetitive, but we genuinely like the people we meet. Every traveler has a different story or a different reason for needing to go away. We try to keep our office organized, but honestly, there are usually papers and notes scattered everywhere. It’s a working office, not some fancy showroom for tourists. We don’t use any scripts when we talk to people. We just say it like it is. If a flight is likely to be delayed or a hotel looks a bit far out from the center, we will tell you straight. Being honest seems to work much better for everyone in the long run. We’ve got a small team here, and we all pitch in with everything. There’s no big hierarchy or management layers. We just want to make sure the tickets are booked correctly and the small details are right. It’s just us doing our thing in this little corner of the city, trying to help out local travelers.
