Suzlon Tours & Travels

Our office is Shop 105 in Gaytri Plaza, right on Gayatrinagar Main Road here in Rajkot. We’re close to Jalaram Chowk, so there’s always a lot going on outside our door. Suzlon Tours & Travels isn’t a huge operation, just a local shop where we help people with their tours. We’ve been in this plaza for some time. The space is a bit tight, especially when more than two people come in at once, but we make do with what we have. We spend our days on the phone or looking at travel schedules on the computer. It’s not always glamorous work, but it’s what we do. The Gayatrinagar area is pretty lively, so there’s never a dull moment. We have a lot of regulars who live nearby and just walk over when they're thinking of a trip. We don't have any big corporate backing, it’s just us. Sometimes we forget to change the calendar on the wall, but the tickets get done on time. It’s a practical office with a lot of papers and maybe a half-empty tea cup on the desk. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. If you’re passing through Jalaram Chowk, you can see our sign at the plaza. It’s an honest little business, and we like being part of the local scene. We might not have the newest computers, but we know how to use them to get the right information for everyone.
