Sri Lalith Impex

Sri Lalith Impex is located within Motion Industries which is right across from Khodiyar Manufacturing in the Vavadi area. To find us you have to head toward the Falcon Pump building and then look behind Hotel Krishna Park. It’s a bit of a maze back here with all the different warehouses and workshops but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t get lost anymore. The yard is usually full of wooden crates and shipping containers that just arrived or are waiting to be picked up. We spend a lot of our time checking manifests and making sure the labels are stuck on right. It is a lot of physical work moving things around and the floor is concrete and hard on the feet. Vavadi is an industrial spot so there isn’t much shade and the sun really beats down on the loading docks. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner. We mostly work out of the main space where all the action is. Sometimes the trucks get backed up on the narrow road near the hotel and things get a bit chaotic but we manage to get through it. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees just a local group doing import and export work. Most of us have grease or ink on our hands by lunchtime but that’s just how the job goes.
