I am rakesh sahare and I run things from 2/32 in the Galaxy Comm. Centre on Jawahar Road. It’s a central enough spot, so it is easy for people to find me if they need to. The Galaxy Comm. Centre is one of those older commercial buildings that has seen a lot of people come and go. My space is pretty simple. I’ve got a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and all my records kept in some metal cabinets. I don’t really see the point in having a fancy setup when it’s just about getting the job done. Most of my day is spent handling local business matters and talking to people who drop by. Jawahar Road is always crowded, so there’s a constant hum of engines and people talking outside. It’s a bit cramped in the office sometimes, especially when there are deliveries or if a few people show up at once. I’ve been in this spot for a while now and I know most of the other shop owners in the building. We all just try to get through our work and help each other out when we can. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. I don’t have a big staff or a lot of complicated systems. It is just me and the daily tasks that need to be finished before I close up for the evening. It keeps me busy enough.
