Our office is located at 216, J.P. Towers on Tagore Road. It’s a decent enough place to work from, and Sumex Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a good amount of time. Being on Tagore Road means we are right in the middle of things, which is helpful for an export business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles in our workspace. It’s mostly desks, computers, and piles of shipping documents that need to be sorted. Exporting stuff involves a lot of back-and-forth communication and making sure all the rules are followed, so we stay pretty busy. We don't try to sound like a huge multinational company because we aren't. We’re just a dedicated team doing the work. Some days the phones never stop ringing, and other days we’re just quietly grinding through the paperwork. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy lobby or someone to open the door for you. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don't go for the corporate polish because it doesn't really fit who we are. We focus on getting our shipments out on time and making sure the people we deal with get what they are expecting. It’s a practical business, and we take pride in just getting the job done without any unnecessary drama or complicated talk.
