Agrilink

Mr. Jatin Talaviya runs Agrilink to work with the local farming needs. We are mostly focused on things that grow or help things grow. The office has a bit of an earthy smell to it sometimes, depending on what samples we have lying around. We spend a lot of our time talking to people about their crops and what they need for the next season. It is very seasonal work, so some months we are running around like crazy and other months are much slower. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a simple space where we can meet and talk. Jatin is often out visiting different sites, so he isn't always sitting at his desk. We have a lot of charts and maps on the walls to keep track of things. It’s a lot of practical knowledge rather than something you just learn from a book. People stop by to ask questions or just to see what’s new. We don’t use any fancy sales talk, we just tell people what we have and how it works. The tea kettle is almost always on because someone is usually stopping by for a chat. It’s a nice way to spend the day, staying connected to the land and the people who work it. We just keep things moving and try to stay ahead of the weather. It is good, honest work that feels right for this area.
