Shubham Gharghanti

You can find Shubham Gharghanti over in Laxmiwadi, just off the 7 Milpara Main Road. We’ve got the shop at 11/18, and it’s usually humming with the sound of the flour mills. If you walk by, you’ll probably see a bit of flour dust near the entrance. It’s a small place, but we fit everything we need inside. Most of our day is spent showing people how the gharghantis work or helping them pick out one that fits their kitchen. It’s a local neighborhood, so we see the same faces quite often. The 7 Milpara Main Road is always busy, so it’s a bit quieter once you tuck into our street. We don’t go for any of that polished sales talk; we just tell people what the machines can do and what they can’t. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood play out front while we're working. It’s a simple setup with a couple of chairs for people to sit while we talk shop. We keep a ledger on the wooden desk to track everything, and it’s been there for as long as I can remember. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is by heart. It’s a steady business, and we take pride in the fact that we’ve stayed in the same spot in Laxmiwadi for so long without needing to move. Our neighbors are good people and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop and the folks who visit.
