Finding us is a bit of a trek if you aren't familiar with the Gondal Ahmedabad Bye Pass Road. We are tucked away at the end of Bansidhar Weight Brigh Street. It’s right across from Plot number 118. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the directions to people on the phone. We are right near Mangal Foundry in the Mira Udhyog area. The road gets really busy with trucks during the day. Sometimes the noise from the bypass is all you can hear. We’ve been set up here for a while now. The workshop is usually full of the smell of metal and the sound of machines running. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we work. We make kitchen stuff, mostly basic things people need. There’s no big showroom or anything. Just the stacks of finished goods and the raw materials waiting to be used. Most days the tea guy comes around at eleven and we take a break. It's a hardworking neighborhood. Everyone around here is making something or fixing something. We fit right in with the other shops and foundries. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We just open up the back doors to let the breeze through. It works well enough for us. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a local shop doing its part on this busy road.
