Shreeji Wafers

Being at Plot No. 222 in the 2nd Phase puts us right in the middle of the industrial hustle. If you know where Morarji Circle is, then you are pretty close to Shreeji Wafers. The smell of cooking and snacks is usually in the air around here. It's an industrial area, so there’s always a lot of noise from trucks and machines. We spend most of our time inside, making sure the wafers are coming out right. It’s a lot of heat from the fryers and the sound of packaging. We aren't a giant factory, just a place where people work hard to make something people like to eat. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them with grease on our hands. The floor gets slippery if we aren't careful. We’ve been in this phase for a while now. Most of the other shop owners nearby know us. We share tea sometimes during the breaks. The circle gets really crowded during rush hour, so getting deliveries out can be a bit of a headache. We just take it one batch at a time. It’s simple work but it keeps us on our feet all day long. We don't have a front desk or anything. You just walk in and see us working. That’s just the way it is at the plot. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
