We’ve been here at 2-Gokul Nagar for a good while now. It’s right on 50 Ft. Road, so it gets pretty busy with traffic especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home towards Kothariya. I usually open the shutters around 10 in the morning. The dust from the road is a bit of a constant battle, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Most people around here know where we are. We mostly deal with watches and clocks, fixing them up or selling new ones when people need a gift. It’s a small space, nothing fancy. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where I usually get my morning cup while waiting for the first customer. Sometimes it’s quiet, just the sound of the ticking in here, which I actually find quite nice after a long day of noise. The address says Kothariya Road, and if you know this part of town, you know it’s always moving. We have some regulars who stop by just to chat or get a battery changed. I try to keep things organized but sometimes the workbench gets a bit cluttered with tiny screws and tools. It isn’t some big showroom, just a local spot where we do our work and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started, more buildings going up every year. Still, the shop feels the same as it always did.
