We are over at the Chandra Moleshwar Shopping Centre on University Road. The shop is right near the Panchayat Nagar Chowk. If you know that intersection, you know how much traffic passes by every single hour. It’s a good spot to be in because there are always people moving around. The agency itself is a modest place. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything like that, just the essentials for running a travel desk. Most of the day is spent on the phone or on the computer checking for availability. We deal with all sorts of travelers. Some are students from the university nearby and others are families living in the residential blocks around here. It can get a bit loud with the noise from the chowk coming inside, but we are used to it by now. We started Shital Travel Agency because we knew the area well and saw people needed help with their tickets. It’s a lot of double-checking names and dates to make sure nobody gets stuck somewhere they shouldn’t be. We don't put on any airs about what we do. It’s just about being here when someone needs a car or a flight booked. Usually, there is a pile of registers on the desk and someone is always coming in to ask about the price of a trip. We just try to keep things moving along smoothly for everyone who comes in.
