Our office is on the first floor of the Sakar Complex. It sits right on Gymkhana Road, directly across from the Rajkumar Collage. It’s a nice spot in Rajkot. Being near the college means there is always some activity outside. Sarda & Sarda Chartered Account is a name we have carried for a long time. The office has that old-school feel to it, with lots of papers and a few cupboards that have seen better days. We like it this way. It feels lived-in and real. We don't use any of those modern buzzwords or have a big reception area with fancy lights. It’s just a workspace. Most of the morning is spent checking figures and making sure everything adds up right. The sun hits the windows in a certain way in the afternoon, making it a bit warm, so we keep the fans going. It’s a practical environment. We know the other shop owners in the complex, and we usually say hello when we arrive in the morning. Being on the first floor is convenient because we don't have to wait for the lift. We just walk up the stairs and get started. It’s a honest day's work for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families at the end of the day. The tea guy knows exactly how we like our morning brew.
