Sahaj Dresses

If you are walking down Lakhajiraj Road, you will probably see Sahaj Dresses near Sarvam Sir. It’s a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or just heading home from work. I remember when we first moved in here, the walls were a different color and the floor needed a lot of scrubbing. Now, it feels like home. We spend a lot of time folding clothes and making sure everything is where it should be, though the racks always end up a mess by the end of a Saturday. That is just part of the job, I guess. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they were passing by or someone told them we had what they were looking for. The lighting in the shop is a bit bright, but it helps people see the colors of the dresses clearly. Sometimes the fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking noise, which can be annoying, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. Running Sahaj Dresses keeps me on my feet all day. By the time we close the shutters, I’m usually ready for a seat and some quiet. It is a good spot to be, right here on this road, seeing all the familiar faces every day. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the shop stays open when people expect it to be.
