Makewell Impex

Our place at Makewell Impex is situated right behind the Bhadar Bridge. If you are familiar with the Rabarika area, you probably know the Rabarika Chokdi, and we are just a short distance from there. We’ve been operating in this spot for several years now, dealing with the import and export of various goods. It is a lot of logistics work, which mostly means we are staring at computer screens or talking to drivers on their mobile phones. The location near the bridge is handy for the big trucks, though the dust can be a real nuisance when the wind picks up in the summer. We don't have a big, polished headquarters. It’s just a functional office where we can keep our records straight and manage the shipping schedules. My nephew helps out with the data entry and sometimes we have to stay late to coordinate with people in different time zones. It isn't always easy, and sometimes shipments get delayed at the port, which causes us a bit of a headache. We aren't trying to be some massive international corporation. We just like to keep things moving and make sure our clients get their stuff. Most of our days are spent checking manifests and making sure the paperwork matches the containers. It’s a lot of small details that you have to get right. Life in Rabarika is quiet, which suits us just fine after a long day of work.
