Our workshop is located at Plot Number 10, right in the thick of things on Gondal Road. You can usually find us by looking for the Samrat Besan Mill because the smell of ground flour often drifts over our way. We are tucked right behind the Vikas Export building. The area is always noisy with trucks coming and going, which is just part of being in Kotharia. Inside our gates, it’s mostly just us working with the machinery and trying to keep the dust down as much as possible. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it serves us well. Most of our day is spent handling materials and making sure the production line doesn’t stop for long. It’s practical work. We don't have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the main area, just a couple of desks near the front door where we keep the ledgers. When the monsoon hits, the road outside gets a bit muddy, but we manage to keep things moving inside. It’s just a small team of us here. We know each other’s habits and how the machines sound when they’re running right. We don’t spend much time on meetings or big plans. We just see what needs to be made today and we start on it. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until we head home in the evening.
