Fire Test & Research Laboratory

Our place, Fire Test & Research Laboratory, is located at Plot No. G-723 in GIDC Lodhika, right on Kalwad Road in Metoda. It’s a very specific kind of work we do here. We spend a lot of time checking different materials and seeing how they react to different heat conditions. It’s a lot of measuring, timing, and taking careful notes. The lab isn’t a fancy place like you might see on television. It’s practical and filled with specialized equipment that we’ve used for years. We have to be careful with everything we do, so it’s a bit of a slow and steady process sometimes. The team here is small. We’ve all been doing this for a while and we know the testing routines by heart. It’s not the kind of job where you see a lot of random people coming and going. Mostly it’s just us and the samples we’re working on for the week. We keep a detailed log of everything that happens. The industrial estate is a good location for us because it’s where a lot of the manufacturers are based. We aren’t trying to be the biggest lab out there. We just want to make sure the data we get is accurate and reliable for the records. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s what we do. We just come in, run the tests, and write down the final results.
