Our place, Ambikashish Machines Pvt. Ltd., is located at Plot No. G-706 on Road No-5 in the Lodhika Gidc area. It is a pretty standard factory setup. We have been here in Metoda for some time now, and we mostly just focus on getting the machines built right. The floor is always covered in metal shavings, and there is a constant noise from the lathes and drills. It is not a quiet place to work, that is for sure. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints and making sure the assembly is going okay. We have some heavy lifting equipment because the parts we deal with are quite bulky. Sometimes the supply of raw materials gets delayed, which messes up our schedule, but we just work a bit later to catch up. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main area where we keep the records. We don’t really go in for anything fancy. The workers usually eat their lunch together under the shade of the tree outside. It is a regular routine. We make machines, we test them, and then they get loaded onto the trucks. There is always grease on someone’s hands and plenty of work to do. We don't have a big reception area or anything. People just walk in through the main shutter if they need to talk to us. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of shop for people who need machines.
