Down at 3, New Nehru Nagar, on the 80 Feet Road, you’ll find us at RAVIN MACHINE TOOLS. This part of the Atika Industrial Area is always busy, and there’s never a quiet moment with all the workshops around us. We spend our days working with different machine tools, mostly getting our hands dirty with oil and metal shavings. The shop floor is where everything happens, and it’s usually quite crowded with parts and half-finished jobs. We have a few old fans that try their best to move the air around, but it still feels pretty thick in there. Most of the guys have been working with machines since they were kids, so we know the sounds of the engines better than we know anything else. If a machine sounds slightly off, we notice it right away. We don't really have a sales team or a fancy showroom; if you want to see what we do, you just walk into the shop and watch us work. The 80 Feet Road is always dusty, and we have to wipe down the machines every morning before we start. It’s a simple setup, and we prefer it that way. We just focus on the tools and making sure everything is built right. It’s a long day from start to finish, and we usually end it with a cup of tea from the stall at the corner before heading home to get the grease off our hands.
