Radhika Electric

Radhika Electric is situated in the Kailash Park Industrial Area. If you know the area, we are right behind the Lilavati Party Plot on Kotharia Main Road. It is kind of funny because on some weekends you can hear music from the parties while we are inside working with our tools. The industrial area is pretty dusty, especially in the dry months. We have got a shop floor that is usually covered in wire scraps and different parts. It is a lot of hands-on work here. We spend most of our time fixing things or putting units together. The guys usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the noise of the machines. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is where we spend ten hours a day. We have got a few old desks in the corner for the paperwork, but nobody really likes sitting there for too long. Most of us prefer being on our feet. The neighbors around Kailash Park are mostly other workshops, so everyone understands the racket we make. We have been at this location for a few years and have slowly filled up every shelf with stock. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy, just a place where we do what needs doing every single day.
