Our place is over at Prahlad Plot, specifically inside Hem Sadan at number 8. It’s a pretty local spot, and we’ve been here for a good while. As traders, we deal with a lot of different suppliers and customers throughout the week. Our workspace is simple, nothing too special to look at, just a practical area to get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just talking to people who drop by for a chat or to check on things. There is usually a bit of back and forth about prices and when things will arrive. That is just the nature of this kind of business. We’ve been at this for some time now. Some days are quite slow, while other days we can't seem to catch a break at all. We handle all the daily tasks ourselves. Loading, unloading, and checking the stock—it all has to happen manually. It’s a small operation. We know the neighbors in the building pretty well. Usually, the day starts quite early before the sun gets too hot. We open up the shutters and start looking over what needs to move out that day. It isn't a flashy life, but it works for us. We just try to keep things moving along without causing too much trouble for anyone. Sometimes the logistics get a little messy, but we figure it out eventually. Just a regular business in a regular neighborhood. We take things as they come and try to stay organized.
