If you’re driving down NH 27, you might see us at Plot No. 14 in Sector No. 2. We are right across from the Empire Flour Mill, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. This place is named after the family, and we try to keep that spirit in how we run things every day. It’s a bit dusty being so close to the highway and the mill, but we’re used to it by now. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the week. Sometimes it’s quiet and we’re just catching up on paperwork, and other days it’s a total rush with people coming and going. The building isn't very old, but we’ve made it our own with all our stuff piled up where we need it. We have a small area where we sit down with people who drop by for a chat or to discuss a specific job. There’s usually a pot of tea on the go somewhere in the back. Our hours are a bit flexible depending on how much work we have on our plate. If there’s a big order, we stay until it’s done, even if it gets dark outside. The highway noise is a constant backdrop to everything we do here, sort of a steady hum that never stops. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone like that to talk us up. It’s just us handling the day-to-day tasks and making sure things are moving along. We like being here because it’s easy for the trucks to get in.
