Palmsexports

Out here on Bhaktinagar Godown Road in Rajkot, things move at their own pace. We are right near the Ambica Weigh Bridge, which is a useful landmark since the trucks are always coming and going around here. At Palmsexports, we spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of getting things ready to ship out. The godown is usually full of crates and the smell of packing materials. It gets quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that is just part of being in an industrial area like this one. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits; we are just a handful of folks who know how to get things from point A to point B. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, or a shipment gets delayed because of the weather, but we just deal with it as it comes. We have been in this spot for years, and most of the neighbors know us by name. Rajkot has a lot of energy, and being part of the export trade means we see a lot of different things passing through. We don't use big words or try to act like we know everything. If someone calls us, they usually talk to the same person every time. We just keep our heads down, pack the orders, and make sure the trucks get loaded correctly before they head out to the main road. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
