Paddyfield Agro Private Limited is situated over in Jasdan, right by the Atkot Bypass. We share some space with Gajanand Cottex Private Limited, so you’ll find us there. Being on the bypass is handy because of all the trucks moving through. It’s a dusty, busy spot, but it’s the right place for an agro business. We deal with various agricultural matters and trading. It’s not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning in every corner. It’s more of a functional place where we sit down, look at the numbers, and talk to farmers or transporters. We started this because we wanted to be involved in the local agricultural economy here in this part of Gujarat. The days usually start early and can go on quite late depending on the season. When it’s harvest time, things get really frantic. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures. We just write down what we need to do and get to it. Sometimes we have tea together and discuss the crop prices. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so we know the people and the land. That helps us keep things moving smoothly without needing too much fuss. Just a small team doing our part in the agro trade. We are glad to be out here where the actual farming happens.
