Opera Impex is based at D-9/A in the Lodhika Industrial Estate, which is part of the Metoda area near Rajkot. We are in the business of import and export, which mostly means we deal with a lot of logistics and heavy shipping. Our office is right there in the estate, surrounded by other factories and warehouses. It’s a dusty place and there’s always a lot of noise from the trucks moving in and out of the gates. We don't have a fancy corporate setup. Our desks are piled high with shipping documents, customs forms, and ledgers. We spend most of our day on the phone or checking the status of containers. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been operating in the Rajkot area for quite some time now and we know most of the local transporters. We don't spend time on promotional materials or big advertising campaigns. Most of our business comes from long-term relationships we’ve built up over the years. We just try to be practical and solve problems as they come up, whether it’s a delay at the port or a paperwork error. It’s a small, hardworking team here. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the goods get to where they’re going without too much trouble.
