NEW-TECH MACHINES

New-Tech Machines is based out of Shed No. 5 in Jivraj Estate. We are right on Gondal Road in Rajkot, across from where Raj Fiber Glass is. It’s a typical industrial shed. We have some heavy machinery and a lot of scrap metal lying around the corners. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we move things. Most days are spent under the fluorescent lights with the sound of metal cutting in the background. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. You just walk through the main gate of the estate and look for our shed number. We’ve been at Survey No. 30 for quite a while now. The guys who work here have been doing this for years, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done. It’s a quiet kind of work in a noisy place. Sometimes the rain leaks through a bit, or the floor gets too slippery with oil, but we manage. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the machines built and out the door. It’s a busy life, and the hours are long, but that’s what it takes to stay open in Rajkot. We take our tea together in the afternoon and then get back to it. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best.
