Mayank Tours And Travels operates out of Flat No 2 B in the Empire Apartment on Race Course Road. We are very close to Big Bite, which is a popular spot around here. The office is a bit small and usually has papers or maps scattered around the desk. I spend most of my time on the phone checking bus schedules or talking to drivers about their routes. It can get a bit crowded in here if a whole family comes in to talk about a trip, but we have a couple of chairs for guests to use. The chairs are getting a bit old and the fabric is worn, but they are comfortable enough. Race Course Road is always full of cars and people, so there is a lot of noise coming through the windows. Sometimes the internet connection gets slow when we are trying to book tickets, which can be frustrating. We keep a big ledger to write everything down because it feels safer than just relying on the computer. I usually grab a quick tea from the stall downstairs twice a day. We handle things like car rentals and local travel bookings for anyone who stops by. It is not a corporate setup, just a few of us trying to keep things organized. People like being able to talk to someone face to face instead of using an app.
