Maruti Gruh Udhyog

We are located at Plot No- A-9 in Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Nagar. Our place is right on the main road, not far from Maruti Nagar. Maruti Gruh Udhyog is a small-scale operation, the kind where you can tell everything is handled by hand. We make various local products, mostly the kind of things people use in their homes every day. The building is a simple one-story structure. We have a small area in the front where people can stop by and a larger work area in the back. It is usually pretty busy with the sound of prep work and packing. We don't have any high-tech machinery. It’s mostly just basic tools and a lot of manual labor. The sun hits the front of the shop in the morning, so we usually keep the shade down. We have a few local people who come in to help with the production. It’s a friendly atmosphere, but we stay focused on the task. The main road can be quite noisy with the buses going by, but we have gotten used to it. We don't do any big fancy branding. Our name is just painted on a board outside. It is a practical business run by local people for the local community. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving. The tea man comes by at four and that is our main break for the day.
