Our place is in Diwanpara, specifically over in the Brahmapuri Wadi area of Rajkot. It’s one of those parts of town where the lanes are a bit tight and everyone seems to know what their neighbor is doing. We’ve been running the travel business from here for a while. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and writing down names for the buses or cars. You won't find any big glowing signs or corporate lobby stuff here. Just a simple room with enough space to talk. Sometimes we get people coming in who just want to know how much a trip to the next city costs, and other times it's families planning something bigger. The area stays pretty busy during the day with all the local foot traffic. Being in a wadi means there’s a certain feel to the day, very traditional and local. We just keep track of the schedules and make sure the drivers know where they are supposed to be. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the dates are right. We don't really do the fancy stuff you see in magazines. It is more about getting people from one place to another without any fuss. Usually, we are just drinking tea and waiting for the next person to walk in the door with a question about their travel plans. Our office doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basic things we need to help our customers.
