Om Marketing is situated in the middle of the chaos at 107 Kapal Market. This is right in the Bara Bazar area of Rajkot, on Dharmendra Road. If you’ve ever been to Dharmendra Road, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and carts. It’s a constant buzz of energy. Our office is inside the market, so it’s not very big. We have shelves filled with samples and ledgers. It’s a traditional marketing setup where we deal with a lot of wholesale stuff. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is worn down from people coming in and out. We don't have a quiet environment because of the market noise, but that’s just part of being in Rajkot’s trade center. We spend our time talking to vendors and checking on stock levels. It’s a lot of manual tracking and phone calls. Sometimes it gets so busy in the market that it’s hard to even walk to the entrance. We’ve been here at Kapal Market for a long time and we know almost everyone in the building. It’s a community of small businesses all working side by side. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate logos everywhere. We just open the shop in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s a very practical way of doing business in a very busy city.
