Our setup is a bit informal, as we operate out of the Jodiya area in Jamnagar. Jodiya Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically centered around the address of Kurji Jada. It’s a local spot where people know each other. Being in a place like Jodia means we are close to the coast, and the air always has that salty feel to it. We aren't a big corporation with a glass building. We just have our space where we organize the local farming activities. Most days, you’ll find a few of us sitting around and talking about the rain or the price of seeds. It’s a community thing more than a corporate one. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just try to help the local farmers get their stuff to the market without too much trouble. Jamnagar is a big district, but Jodia feels like a tight-knit village. We have some records kept in old cupboards and a few desks that have seen better days. It doesn't matter much as long as the work gets finished. People stop by to chat or to ask for advice on their crops. We don’t have a website or a fancy logo. We just have our name and our location. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep things moving along, making sure the local agricultural scene stays active.
