Iq Design

Our shop is located at 27 Gundawadi, right across from where Gayatri Timbers is. If you know where Palang Chowk is, then we are pretty close to that landmark. At Iq Design, things are usually a bit cluttered because we always have different materials and sketches lying around. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and figuring out how pieces are going to fit together. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s more of a workspace where stuff actually gets built. The noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small team, and we all pitch in on whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning up sawdust or talking to someone who walked in off the street. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just take an idea and try to make it into something real. Sometimes we get stuck on a tricky design, and it takes a few tries to get it right, but we don't mind the extra effort. It’s a local business through and through. We’ve been at this Gundawadi location for a while, and most of the people around here know us by now. We just stay busy and keep working. There is always something that needs fixing or adjusting, which keeps the days from getting boring.
