You can find us at Shop No. 101 in the Siddhivinayak Complex. We are right on Dr. Yagnik Road, which is one of the busiest spots in the city. If you look across the street, you’ll see the big Kalyan Jewellers, so that is usually how people find their way to us. Being in a complex means there are always people coming and going. We spend a lot of our time standing at the front of the shop, talking to folks who wander in. We have a lot of traditional wear on the shelves, and we try to keep things organized, though it gets messy when the shop is full of customers. The air conditioning in the complex is okay, but we still feel the heat from the street sometimes. Every morning starts with us sweeping the floor and wiping down the glass counters. It’s a lot of routine work. We aren't trying to be the biggest store on Dr. Yagnik Road, we just want to have good stuff for the people who live nearby. Sometimes we stay open a little later if someone is still looking at clothes. The traffic outside can be a nightmare during rush hour, but inside we just focus on the fabric and the colors. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we've gotten to know the other shop owners in the building pretty well.
