Gram Shree

Up on the first floor of Bilkha Plaza, that’s where you’ll find Gram Shree. Kasturba Road is always packed with people and cars, so finding a parking spot can be a real headache sometimes. We’ve been in this building for a bit now. It’s got that old-style layout where the corridors are a bit narrow, but it works for us. Inside the office, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of the fans. We don’t go in for anything flashy. There are some chairs for visitors and a couple of desks where the paperwork happens. Usually, we start early in the morning before the heat really kicks in. The light coming through the windows isn't the best, but we make do. Most days are just about finishing what’s on the list for that day. We see a lot of regulars who come up the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. But anyway, it’s home for us during the day. We have our files organized, or we try to, and there’s always a jar of biscuits somewhere. It’s just a regular workplace. No big corporate meetings or anything. We just talk about what needs doing over some tea and then get back to it. Our location is easy to find once you get to Kasturba Road, just look for the plaza and come on up. We are usually here until the sun goes down.
