Frita Ceramic Private Limited

Working out here on Jetpar Road, you get used to the dust and the trucks moving in and out all day. We are located in the Rangpar area, which is a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city. Frita Ceramic Private Limited is where we spend most of our time, dealing with clay and kiln temperatures. It’s a messy job, really. Your clothes always end up with that greyish tint by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, and we know most of the guys working in the other units nearby. The road outside can get pretty rough during the monsoon, sometimes making it tricky for the deliveries. Inside the factory, it’s mostly just the sound of the machines and people shouting to be heard over them. It isn't the kind of place you’d find in a glossy brochure, it’s just a working plant. We keep things moving, making sure the tiles or whatever we're firing that day come out right. There isn't much to do around here for lunch, so we usually just bring stuff from home and sit in the shade. It’s quiet in its own way, despite the noise of the industry. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things simple. That’s how life is for us at Rangpar.
