Patel Mahila Gruh Udhyog

Our place, Patel Mahila Gruh Udhyog, is located at Nagraj 3 Devpara on Kotharia Road. It is a bit of a walk from the main crossing but most people find us okay. The building is usually full of women from the neighborhood working together. It gets pretty loud with all the talking and the work sounds. We have stacks of bags and supplies taking up most of the room. Kotharia Road is always packed with traffic so it’s never really quiet here. We don't have any polished marketing brochures or a big website. It’s just us doing the daily tasks that need to get done. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with scraps and packing stuff. We just sweep it up at the end of the day. The light coming through the windows is nice in the afternoon. We have been here at Nagraj 3 Devpara for quite some time now. Everyone knows everyone else, which makes the days go by faster. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just sit on the floor or on low stools to do the work. Patel Mahila Gruh Udhyog is basically just a local effort. We don’t have fancy equipment, just what we’ve always used. Sometimes the tea break is the best part of the morning. It’s a simple life here on Kotharia Road and we just keep at it.
