Deepee'S Collection

We are based in the New Jagnath Society. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than the main market areas. We run our collection business from here. It’s mostly clothes and accessories that we keep in a spare room we’ve converted into a workspace. People from around the society often drop by to see what’s new. We don't have a formal storefront with a big sign. It’s more of a home-based setup. We’ve lived in New Jagnath for a long time, so everyone knows where we are. My sister handles the sorting while I look after the customers. We started this because we liked finding unique pieces that you don't see in the big malls. Sometimes we host small viewings for the neighbors. It’s all very informal. We don't have set hours really; if we're home and the light is on, people know they can knock. It gets a bit chaotic when we get a fresh delivery of stock. Bags and boxes everywhere. We try to stay organized but it’s a lot of work. We handle everything ourselves, from the packing to the phone calls. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the community here. It’s nice to work where you live. Sometimes the neighbors bring over snacks while we work on the inventory. It feels more like a hobby that turned into a real job. We keep a ledger on the table for all the sales.
