Our office is in Mani Complex, specifically room 202 on the second floor. We are right on Yagnik Road, directly across from the Hotel Imperial Palace. It is a good landmark to tell people when they are looking for us. The complex is an older building with a lot of character. Our office is a bit small, but it fits our team just fine. We have our desks pushed together to make more space. The street noise is constant because of the hotel and the shops nearby, but we are used to it. Sometimes we watch the traffic from the window when we are thinking about a problem. It is a very basic setup inside. We have a small table where we keep the newspapers and a kettle for making coffee. Most of our day is spent at our computers or talking on the phone. We don't have any flashy decorations or expensive carpets. It is just a place to work. We know the security guards and the tea seller outside by name. It feels like a neighborhood even though it is a busy commercial area. We have been here for years and the routine hasn't changed much. We just show up, do what is required, and head back to our families in the evening. It is a decent, honest way to spend the day.
