Our factory is tucked away in the Aji Industrial Area right on the 80 Feet Road in Rajkot. Most days it is quite loud here because of all the machines we use to make our cookware and serving sets. We have been at the Crystal Estate for a long time now. People around here know us as the place where the metal gets shaped and the glass lids are fitted. It is a busy spot and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded near the entrance. The heat from the manufacturing floor can get pretty intense during the summer months in Gujarat but we are used to it by now. We spend our mornings going over the production schedules and making sure the kitchen items are coming out the way they should. The staff mostly comes from the nearby neighborhoods and we have a tea break together every afternoon. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we get the work done. We handle everything from the initial pressing of the materials to the final packing in boxes. Sometimes the 80 Feet Road gets really crowded with traffic which makes it tricky for the delivery drivers to pull out. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day's tasks. If you walk by you will hear the clanking of stainless steel and see people moving around in blue uniforms. That is just how life goes here.
