CHEM STAR INDUSTRIES

Our place is at Plot No. 2 in Loha Nagar, which is just behind the Jain Chal on Gondal Road. It is an industrial neighborhood where there is always a lot of traffic and heavy vehicles moving around. We deal with various chemicals, so the warehouse is filled with plastic drums and metal barrels stacked up high. It is a bit of a messy environment with labels and containers everywhere you look. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading these barrels, making sure the seals are tight and everything is stored where it should be. The floor is concrete and often has marks from the forklift tire tracks. We don't have a polished office, just a small corner with a table and some files where we track the inventory. The noise from Gondal Road never really stops, so we have gotten used to the sound of trucks honking all day. Our workers are mostly local men who know how to handle the heavy containers without any trouble. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a working warehouse doing our daily business. It’s a bit hot inside during the summer months, but we keep the big doors open to let some air in. People come and go all day, picking up supplies or dropping off new batches of materials for us to store. It keeps the schedule full and the days go by fast enough for everyone here.
