BS Panesar & Sons

We have been over here at Street No. 6 for a long time now. BS Panesar & Sons is just the name on the board outside our gate at Shree Khodiyar Krupa. My father started this and now we just keep it going every morning. It gets quite noisy on Mavdi Main Road with all the traffic passing by the Gurukul area. Most days start with a cup of tea before we get into the heavy work in Block No. 2. Our shed is usually covered in dust and we have tools lying around everywhere, but that is just how it goes when you are working with your hands. We spend a lot of time in the Matep Society area dealing with people from around the neighborhood. Sometimes the machines act up or the power goes out, which can be frustrating, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It is not a fancy place by any means. There are stacks of materials piled up and the floors are never really clean. We do not have a big office or anything like that. We just sit on the plastic chairs near the entrance and talk to whoever stops by. It is a family thing and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. We are just trying to do our work and get home in time for dinner like everyone else in this part of town.
