Balaji Waters

Balaji Waters is tucked away in the Misal Complex on Kadrabad Road. It’s one of those spots you might miss if you aren't looking for it. We spend most of our time dealing with water, which is basically what the name says. The complex is usually busy with people coming and going. We have been here for a good stretch of time now. The work isn't glamorous, mostly just lifting and making sure everything is clean and ready. It gets pretty wet around here sometimes, which is expected. We have a few guys who handle the heavy lifting and a couple of us in the back doing the rest. Kadrabad Road can get dusty during the dry season, so we are always cleaning. We don't have a big fancy reception or anyone in a suit. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, maybe holding a wrench or a clipboard. We just focus on getting the water out to whoever needs it. It’s a simple routine. We show up, check the equipment, and start the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but that is just how it goes here. We don't make big promises or use big words. We just do the work and try to stay out of trouble. It’s a decent living and the people around the complex are friendly enough. We are just normal people doing a normal job every day, and we keep it moving regardless of the weather.
