Avinash Impex

Over at Avinash Impex, we operate out of the Shekhawati Glass building on Tartoly Road. It's one of those places where you just get used to the rhythm of the street and the constant moving of goods. We deal with imports and exports, mostly handling the paperwork and the logistics of moving stuff from one place to another. It isn't always the most exciting work, but it's what we know. The office isn't anything to write home about, just a place where we keep our records and manage the calls. Being on Tartoly Road means we're in the middle of a lot of other businesses, so there's always something going on outside. We've had some long days here, especially when shipments get delayed or there's a mix-up with the manifests. You learn to just roll with it after a few years. We don't use big fancy software for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen still work best for keeping track of things. The team is small, just a few of us who have been working together for a bit. We know who handles what, so it usually runs okay. People stop by sometimes to ask about rates or how long a container might take. We just give them the honest answer based on what we see on the schedules. It’s a regular job, and we’re just trying to keep the business moving without too much fuss or unnecessary complications every day.
