ASHWIN INDUSTRIES

Ashwin Industries is over at Plot No.6 in the Samrat Industrial Area. We are right off Gondal Road, near Chandan Marble and just behind the ST Workshop. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of noise and movement. We’ve been here since the early nineties. We do manufacturing, mostly small metal parts and components for larger equipment. The workshop is packed with machinery, so there isn't much room for anything else. We don't have a big staff, just a few local men who have been doing this for a long time. We start our day when the sun comes up and usually keep going until late evening. There’s no fancy corporate structure here. If there’s a problem, we just talk about it over tea and fix it. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People find us because they know we’ve been in the Samrat area for years. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit through the roof if it’s really pouring, but we just move the stuff out of the way. It’s just an honest day’s work for us. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the parts we make are solid and that our customers are satisfied enough to come back next time. We just keep our heads down and stay focused on the tasks in front of us until the work is finally finished for the day.
