Arisudan Kitchenware

Down here at Goldanstreet No. 1, things stay pretty busy throughout the day. We are located in the Kotharia Industrial Area which is always full of trucks and people moving goods. Being near the Maldhari Fatak means we hear the trains quite a bit when they pass by. Arisudan Kitchenware is where we spend most of our hours making all kinds of metal items for kitchens. The Gondal Road traffic is usually heavy so it can be a bit of a struggle for the delivery guys to get in and out sometimes. Inside the building it smells like metal and heat. We have piles of stainless steel and other materials tucked into the corners. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the grinding and polishing we do, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. The staff here has been together for a while and we mostly just talk about the work or what is happening in the neighborhood. It is a tough environment with the Rajkot heat but we are used to it by now. We do not do much fancy talk, just focus on the machines and making sure the crates are packed. On some days the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That is just how life is in the industrial area.
