Anand Fabrication

We set up our shop at 2 Gopalnagar, right on Dhebar Road. It’s a spot that’s pretty easy to find if you’re in the neighborhood. Fabrication is basically what goes on here from early morning until the evening. You’ll usually hear the sound of grinders or see the flash of welding if you happen to walk by. It’s hard work and your hands stay dirty most of the time. We don't spend much time on computers or sitting in fancy chairs. Most of the day is spent right on the floor, measuring out metal and getting the joints right for whatever we are building. We’ve seen Dhebar Road change quite a bit over the years, mostly just getting more traffic. Our space isn't huge, but it fits the tools we need to get the fabrication jobs finished. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, especially when it rains and we have to move stuff inside quickly so it doesn't get ruined. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them out the door. There’s no big secret to how we work. We just use the machines we have and try to be honest about how long a job is actually going to take. If someone needs a gate fixed or some metal frame welded, they just drop by and talk to us. It’s a simple setup. We keep the scrap in one corner and the finished pieces in the other.
