Singhal Hardware

If you know Raipur, you probably know Station Road. It’s always crowded and there is always something going on. We are right opposite the Gurudwara, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find Singhal Hardware. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things, from tools to bits of metal and various supplies people need for their homes. It’s often dusty, but that’s just how hardware stores are. We spend a lot of time helping people find that one specific screw or a particular tool they can't find elsewhere. Chhattisgarh gets really hot, so we have a couple of fans going all day. Sometimes we just sit on the stools and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a family-run kind of feeling here, even if we aren't all related. We know the regulars by name and they know us. The sound of the traffic on Station Road is constant. It’s a bit loud, but we like being in the middle of everything. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. We just open the shutters in the morning and start our day. Some days we are busy loading things onto trucks, and other days we’re just organizing the bins. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. We’ve been here at this spot for a long time, watching the city change around us and just keeping our heads down to work.
